Bro. Taylors Welcome Message

Personal Invitation

As I reflect upon it now, the evening was damp and cold. My short journey to the nursing home was notable only because of the unpleasant weather in which it was traveled. Saturday evening is the usual time for hymn singing in the facilities' large dining hall. The old gentleman whom I had come to visit was there passing the time singing praises to the Lord.

It was a good crowd that night. I, the pastor, and my old friend, the parishioner, sat in tearful reverence as worshippers in wheelchairs, walkers, and canes offered their praises unto Him who died that they might have a future and a hope.

It was near the end of the service that I excused myself and walked out into the hall. Suddenly, there fell upon my ears the most heart rending cry that I had ever heard. Turning, I saw a woman, very distraught, sitting in a wheelchair, crying. Immediately I inquired as to what was troubling her so. Her woeful cry was like acid burning its way to the bottom of my heart. "I'm lost! I'm lost! I'm lost!" Three times she repeated those words and each time they seemed more hopeless than the time before.

As I recall that scene, the memory of her cries break my heart as powerfully as it did that night.

Reader, whoever you are that has taken this little booklet in hand, you're reading this because you are interested in going to Bible school to prepare for the ministry. Let me tell you that the biggest percentage of people on this planet are lost. Their cries ring in the ears of Jesus just as that woman's did in mine.

At Ozark Bible Institute and College, we are dedicated to training missionaries, evangelists, pastors, teachers, and laborers to go forth into this vast harvest of souls. Our emphasis is on evangelism and discipling converts in the essential truth of Bible holiness.

If you are looking for a school where responsibilities of the great commission are taken seriously, where faculty and administration are committed to helping you develop your ministry to its fullest potential, I suggest you consider Ozark Bible Institute and College.

Now take the time to read this web page and familiarize yourself with the school. After you have read it, ask yourself this question, "Do I hear anything?"

Remember, what that poor woman said is the pitiful cry of all the unconverted people in the world, "I'm lost!"

It could be you that would make a difference.
